Preston McCall

I was born in Wichita and have spent the rest of my life in Lawrence, KS or the Kansas City area until I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2014. I studied art at the University of Kansas where I enjoyed the town very much. Once I had my present business going, I was needed in KC much more, thus moved there.

I have painted most of my life, My mother, Lois McCall was a painter and I was influenced by her. My father was a business man and he had a wonderful effect on me as well. I have a younger brother who is a toy designer and an older sister who is a retired art professor at a college outside of NYC. Obviously, we had creative parents, thankfully.

Having owned a gallery there in '02-04, I learned that the Santa Fe market is a very lively place in which to participate and exhibit. Finally, after selling my Advertising Design business in KC, I moved back to Santa Fe to retire into retail....just what retirement was meant to be for me.

My partner, Suzie Stambaugh is also a painter and a highly creative force in my life. I am extremely devoted to Suzie for encouraging me to follow my dream and return to the gallery business with her.

I have sold hundreds of my paintings to people all over the world. Hearing from someone who owns some of my work is always a delight. What a great way know people, I have found. If you have one or or just curious, drop me an email and I will reply.
